Design Analysis of the Apartments
In this project there is a wide varieties of flats available in different built up areas.
West Facing 1890sft
The flat enters into the drawing room from the eastern side through the corridor. The drawing room continuous to dining and living room extending to balcony. The drawing room and the dining room has internal partition wall. The drawing room has a window on the eastern wall next to the main door. Center of the flat is the dining room and has good access to all the rooms. Living room is in the eastern side with french door to the balcony.
Master bedroom is on the southwest corner with attached toilets, wardrobes and a window on the southern wall towards the east corner. Kitchen with utility is placed in the south east direction and the utility is on the east side. Window is centrally placed in the southern side of the kitchen.
Both northeast and northwest corners have bedroom each with wardrobes and attached toilet.
East Facing 1890sft
The entry to the flat is on the eastern side and enters in to drawing room. This room has walls on four sides and acts as formal living area. One window is there close to the main door. Dining is at the center of the flat with attached living area which extends to a huge balcony on the southern side.
Next to the drawing room in the southeast corner is the kitchen with windows towards the utility to the south.

The entrance of the flat is on the west side of the flat in the northwest of the drawing room. This room has a window next to the main door and has walls and partitions on all the sides.
The dining is centrally located and have proximities to all the rooms. To the left side of the drawing room is a bedroom with study table and wardrobe. This bedroom have 2 windows, one small window is along the western wall in the study area and the other towards the north.
Pooja space is provided to the south side of the dining. Living area has a big window in the eastern side providing lighting and ventilation for the living and dining area. Second bedroom which is in the northeast corner is acceded from the living area.
This bedroom has 2 windows, one small window on the northern wall and the other in the eastern wall. This bedroom has attached toilet and wardrobe.
Kitchen is provided in the southeast corner with utility space in the southern side.
Master bedroom is in the southwest corner with attached wardrobe and toilet. This bedroom has one window on the south side for ventilation. This flat design is very good in terms of circulation, privacy.
West facing - 1730sft
The main access is on the west side from the corridor to the drawing room, and the drawing room is quite enough o handle 5 seaters and a window is placed on the western wall.. The drawing leads to open living and dining to balcony. Between the living and the balcony is french doors and the view is good from the drawing room after crossing the drawing room and the sunset can be seen without hindrance. Right side of the living is the kitchen with attached utility on the west side.
On the left side of the living on two corners northeast and northwest there are 2 bedrooms with attached toilet, wardrobes and one window each.
West facing – 1965sft
The main entry is on the west into the drawing room which is 14'6"x12'6' with 2 windows one near the main door and the other on the center of the north wall. Nest to the drawing room is the living and dining area. Near to living on the northern wall is the french doors leading to balcony which is of 5' width and the length is about 27'.
In the dining area the space is good enough for 6 to 8 person dining table. The dining area is the center of the unit and can be accessed to all spaces from here. There is a bedroom in the northeast corner with 2 slit windows and attached toilet and wardrobe, in this bedroom balcony is provided on the eastern side.
Next to the bedroom to the southern side is the kitchen with a slit window and attached utility in the eastern side. There is a second bedroom to the right of the dining room with 4’ window, wardrobe and attached toilet. The toilet is about 11’length and the wash basin space is good. There is a washbasin in the dining next to the second bedroom toilet.
Master bedroom is in the southwest corner with window on the southern wall, wardrobe and attached toilet. In this type of units the heat won’t be much into the building. Especially in climatology and design analysis more heat is in the southwest area, but here the corridor cuts the evening sunlight into the building.
This is a 3BHK unit with drawing room, living, dining and two balconies one of 27’ and other in the bedroom. The kitchen and the utility area is quite spacious.
East Facing 2265sft
The main door opens into the east side into the drawing room which has a window near the main door and partitions and walls on all sides.
